Drawing on Rosalyn Deutsche’s article, “Krzysztof Wodiczko’s ‘Homeless Projection’ and the Site of Urban ‘Revitalization,’” the following topics are proposed for discussion:
Public art as urban intervention and as a strategy of “pacification”;
The instrumentalization of historical heritage in processes of gentrification;
Art, technology, and politics in public space
