HTTPVideo, HTTPTags, and HTTPSound festivals

In 2008, the Sergio Motta Institute held three festivals—HTTPVideo, HTTPTags, and HTTPSound—curated by Giselle Beiguelman on three major Web 2.0 platforms: YouTube, Delicious, and MySpace. This initiative responded to the need to expand the Institute’s online activities and broaden the audience with which we engaged, while creating temporary spaces for creative work that also functioned as critical arenas for emerging production. This e-book documents the HTTPs festivals and includes critical texts by Paula Alzugaray, Juliana Monachesi, Marcos Boffa, and myself, with many images, videos, and links. Graphic design by Marcus Bastos.
