LandscapeØ (PaisagemØ) is a sampling machine that produces visions of Brazil’s Northeast by remixing its database. It works with a negative landscape, both deconstructive and deconstructed. On the homepage, the viewer encounters the everything/nothing of white and its countless branching points, where an unusual proposition emerges: to reconstruct the landscape by recomposing fragments of Brazilian cultural history.
