O Museu é sua História is a projection-mapping intervention on the façade of the Museu do Ipiranga, created by artist Alexis Anastasiou and curated by Giselle Beiguelman and Solange Ferraz de Lima. It forms part of the long-term Japodeis project. Focusing on activating the works of the Museu do Ipiranga, Japodeis approaches the museum’s renovation as a space in the process of renewal, moving beyond the idea of a museum closed for construction.
The first activity takes place on September 7, 8, and 9, with projections by Alexis Anastasiou at 7 p.m., 7:20 p.m., and 7:40 p.m.
