did you read the east? (leste o leste?) was my first public artwork. It was a teleintervention conceived for the fourth edition of Arte/Cidade, Artecidadezonaleste (2002), linking an electronic billboard in São Paulo to any computer connected to the web. Participants could choose an image online, send it using only their browser, and check the result on a webcam. The images submitted to the billboard were a series of messages in dialogue with the graffiti in that area. See images and videos here
