uRnotHere (You Are Not Here) is a machine for inventing landscapes. It proposes the challenge of inventing a new, affective and shifting geography in nomadic maps of transient territories, in an age of hyperlocativity and spatial experience mediated by the mobile phone camera.

Here you can view or create cities by selecting from a database of more than 4,000 images captured by the artists in 40 cities around the world.

Conceived in 2012 as an interactive installation commissioned by Itaú Cultural for the 6th International Art and Technology Biennial, it is now presented as an application for iPhone and iPad. Every city created is automatically posted on Facebook and can be viewed here.

A project by Giselle Beiguelman and Fernando Velázquez.
