Cinema Lascado is a video series addressing the scars of urban processes produced by the construction of elevated roads, such as the Minhocão in São Paulo and the Perimetral in Rio de Janeiro.
The project explores the aesthetics of noise, particularly glitch (a term for system failures and malfunctions in programming routines), and the ways they engage with fragmented spaces and our experiences of urban fractures.
