Net aura is a project that focuses on the epistemological and aesthetic implications of the man-machine relationship, mediated by voice command. It also explores the new meaning constructions which are possible by the algorithmic translation processes. The project allowed anyone to record an audio message, by phone, cell phone or any VoIP system and receive through the project website an animation that translates his/her audio voice into a unique animation. The animation corresponds to the participant voice parameters interpreted by the net aura application. It keeps the original recorded message as its sound and can be downloaded to computers and cell phones and distributed by e-mail and the web.
